Single stripper with ammonia side stream
extraction technology
Single stripper
with ammonia side stream extraction technology was
jointly developed by FRIPP, Luoyang Petrochemical and
Engineering Company, Changling Refining and Chemical
General Works and other companies. This technology has
been applied in many refineries with considerable
environmental and economic
benefits.
With more and more
sour crudes being processed, the discharging of sulfur
and ammonia containing wastewater are causing stripper
to work over its limit. FRIPP, on the basis of single
stripper technology, has developed single stripper base
design and revamp/expansion technology including
removing oil via water demulsification, tray
calculation, packing material screening, alkali
stripping, condition optimization, and
etc.
This
technology can increase the capacity of stripper; lower
the concentrations of sulfides and ammonia in
wastewater, improving the quality of by products such as
hydrogen sulfide and ammonia.
