Research interests mainly focus on catalytic chemistry and organic catalysis, particularly experienced on the catalytic functionalization of hydrocarbon. Catalytic selective oxidation is one of my most desirable reactions with molecular oxygen, which remains an attractive subject and challenges both academic research and industrial process, such as the oxidation of benzene to phenol, cyclohexane to cyclohexanone, toluene to benzyl alcohol and benzaldehyde.
Catalytic activation of C-H and C-X bonds with environmental- benigned processes is a current interest research area. Other research fields are including selective hydrogenation, hydrodechlorination and halogenation. For examples, the processes of hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene, dechlorination of PCBs, process development of 2-chloro-5-trifluoromethyl-pyridine.
Up to now, more than 100 papers have been published and more than 30 patents were issued. |
