Prof. Yafeng Guan (born: 1957, Dalian, China) B.Sc. The Chinese University of Science and Technology,1982; Ph. D., Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1986; Post doctor. Institute of Science of Chemistry, University Urbino, Italy, 1987; Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He received the Founds for Eminent Young Scientists in 1999. He has been the Member of Scientific Committee on Fundamental Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1996.
