Exhibition Title： Applied Natural Sciences 2013  Initiator： apv2013@ucm.sk  Undertaker： apv2013@ucm.sk  Date： 2013-10-02  Exhibits： Novi Smokovec, Slovak Republic, Europe  Details： It is a pleasure to announce that the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of SS Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia in cooperation with Faculty of Environment, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in ústi nad Labem, Czech Republic, Faculty of Chemistry, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences in Mosonmagyarovar, University of West Hungary in Sopron, Hungary organise the 4th International Scientific Conference "Applied Natural Sciences 2013 - Applied Natural Sciences in V4 Countries" in 2 symposiums - Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, - Applied Biology and Biotechnology and special sections - Applied Informatics - Pedagogy, Humanities and Foreign Languages in Natural and Technical Sciences on October 2 - 4, 2013 in Novy Smokovec, High Tatras, Slovak Republic. The conference is supported by International Visegrad Fund. Since 2007 the traditional topics include methods of biological and biochemical analysis, biological active substances of microorganisms and plants, biochemistry and enzymology, molecular biology and genetics, classic and modern biotechnology (recombinant DNA technology), genetic modification of microorganisms and plants and genomic, proteomic and bioinformatics. Special session will be devoted to biomedical research (screening models /antioxidants, antimicrobial screening). Besides that, the Conference includes all branches of pure chemistry, like analytical, inorganic, physical and organic chemistry and intermediate/interdisciplinary fields like chemometry, electrochemistry, magnetochemistry, photochemistry, biochemistry, medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry as well as chemistry applied to material science and health. Special session will be devoted to (bio)remediation of contaminated environments. The topics include: speciation modelling of toxic elements in soil-plant systems; transport and transformation of toxic and radioactive pollutants in the environment; water- and atmospheric analysis; land-, solids- and waste analysis; nuclear- and electro-analytical methods, environmental monitoring. The conference programme will provide a range of outstanding key note talks. The key-note lecturers will be announced soon at the Conference website. The conference is organised in beautiful area of mountain resort - the congress centre Spa Novy Smokovec. The climatic SPA Novy Smokovec belongs to the most famous health resorts in Slovakia. It is situated in the heart of the High Tatras National Park 1018m above sea level. SPA Novy Smokovec lies above the layer of powdery and smoke zone and so there is cleaner air without bacteria and allergens. The location of SPA Novy Smokovec right in the touristic centre of the city High Tatras provides excellent conditions for hiking and sport activities.
